Validation Study has been completed to show Atlas STEC EG2 Combo Detection Assay for Big Six Non-O157 Shiga Toxin Producing Escherichia coli (STEC) in Ground Beef, Beef Trim, and Frozen Beef (FTB).

Salmonella Limits Testing in Poultry

The Roka Salmonella assay uses a shortened enrichment protocol taking 4 hours, then transfer to lysis tubes, followed by 3 hour analysis time on the Atlas instrument.  This is possible because the Atlas instrument provides more sensitivity for detection, using rRNA as target instead of DNA.  Follow this link to see more details at the Roka Science Blog.
